I bought this for our game room so it's not our main a/v setup. I'm very fussy about the quality of my audio so I was a little wary about spending so little on speakers (the most important and most under-rated part of any a/v system. My overall impression is that this is an excellent system, especially if you are looking for inconspicuous speakers for your home-theater. The system comes with four TL1 satellite speakers Polk Audio TL 1 Sat Speaker (Each, Black), a matched central speaker and a powered subwoofer. Setup is easy enough (some reviews of the TL1 systems complain about the cable posts but frankly I saw nothing that caused me any concerns - I was easily able to connect each speaker with Monster Xp-CI cable. My first blu-ray was the star wars pack, and let me tell you it was a whole new experience. These speakers make me hear things i would have never thought were there, every now again i keep thing somebody is behind, the sound quality is amazing in a movie or T.V program Being a audio newbie i feel like i made the right choice and will be purchasing polk audio again.

I was more inclined towards Klispch or Energy, but the price offered was very cheap compared to both. Currently I am using as surround sound speakers and it is not being the heart of the system( front speakers are Polk tsi400). Subwooofer is OK and for a second option I will go with PSW111 or higher. This a decent unit for the lower to mid range, but for the current price I would go with Energy as it is only the same price. Very light( less than 2LB) for ceiling mount as it is one my requirement. Polk has done a good job in creating such light speakers with good sound.
